Access to CVTC Digital Library is Changing




In order to help with student accessibility, increased demand and to simplify our digital library services  the library will be moving to single sign-on account access for all students and faculty beginning this summer.  Students and faculty will continue to use their MyCVTC credentials to access library materials, but permanent links embedded in Canvas, course syllabi, or web pages may need to be updated.  The following resources will be impacted:  
  • Ebsco
  • OneSearch
  • UpToDate
  • Films on Demand/Kanopy/Alexander Street Press
The following resources WILL NOT be impacted: 
  • LinkedIn Learning
  • Lippincott
The library and CPD will attempt to update any course links in Canvas on your behalf over the coming months.  However, we strongly encourage you to review and test course links in advance to ensure usability.  If you do encounter troubles, please reach out to the library at library@cvtc.edu or 715-833-6285.  Thank you for your patience as we enhance our students experiences!

Summer/Fall 2022 Student Technology Resources

 Great news!

A limited number of internet hot spots are available for students to checkout for the fall 2022 term at no cost. To request a hot spot please complete this short form by Friday, May 27. Some hotspots may also be available for students registered for classes over summer term on a first-come, first-served basis. You can place a hold by emailing library@cvtc.edu, stopping by the library desk, or calling 715-833-6285. 

A limited number of other devices such as laptops and iPads can be reserved and checked out from the library for 30 days at a time depending on availability.
