We are excited to share with all of you this exciting new database from McGraw Hill, Access Engineering.  Access Engineering is a reference and teaching platform that delivers world-renowned, interdisciplinary engineering content integrated with analytical teaching and learning tools.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week! Did you know the library offers free access to The Chronicle of Higher Education for all CVTC students and employees? This publication provides readers with the most relevant news for all types of disciplines, topics, and institutions in higher education.


Virtual events are also offered, both synchronously and on-demand. Topics include: “Why Coronavirus Will Change Higher Ed More Than the Great Recession” and “Engaging a New Generation of Learners”. Additionally, you have access to The Review - the ideas magazine of The Chronicle, which covers culture, scholarly trends, publishing, higher education policy, and academic life.

Wisconsin Library Association Member Spot Light

Congratulations to our very own Nic Ashman who was featured as the February Member Spotlight by WLA.  Nic is our Tech Services and Reference Librarian here at CVTC.  


Also featured this month is Jen Thiele, who is the director of the Marinette County Library System, and an adjunct instructor for our Library and Information Services Program.
