National Open Education Week: March 1-5, 2021

National Open Education Week (OE Week) is an opportunity for actively sharing and learning about the latest achievements in Open Education worldwide. It is also a time to reflect on the work that you, your colleagues, and CVTC has done to support student affordability.

During spring 2021, 48 faculty and 146 courses used open or affordable resources at CVTC, saving students thousands of dollars while also enhancing equity, and supporting persistence, completion, and overall student success.

For more information on OE Week, visit https://www.openeducationweek.org/. To learn more about open education and how you can get started, visit the library OER help guide or register for an upcoming professional development opportunity.

Watch our student and faculty talk about the benefits of OER in this video.

In addition check out the video of Peter, Interim Associate Dean of General Education and Holly, Dean of Academic Development and Services, talking about OER at CVTC.
